Day 3 of our Christmas / New Years visit to Korea
Christmas Day!
We started the day out with a walk through the neighborhood. Just up the road from Scotts place is where all of the Ambassador's from other countries live. We took a stroll through their hood...
YES--that is how steep that hill is...and no, it's not the steepest one we've walked! Great exercise!
The housing is amazing and there are black Beemer's everywhere...however there are also men dressed in suits with dark glasses and earpieces in so we were liberal with the picture taking. Sorry!
We headed down the hill to stop for some breakfast and coffee...the Koreans don't do breakfast like we do...it's more like their lunch meal than an American breakfast meal...so we settled for McDonalds
Then we stopped by this cool little shop so Blake could get a couple of jerseys. This guy was on the street and stopped us by walking up to Blake and saying "Real Basketball"! And proceeded to inroduce himself as "homeslice Jim"! We couldn't resist buying from him. He gave Blake a great deal and was a ton of fun to boot!

Relaxing for a bit before we head out to the Christmas pary at Scott's office.

These are all from the Christmas party at Scotts work. We intended on staying a couple of hours and ended up there for nearly 7! It was fun!

And the majority of the folks ended up playing Pictionary and later we all played Catch Phrase and Tabu!
These are Scott's squadron jerseys. They are a weather squadron so they ar called the roosters in honor of the stupid rooster on a weather vane.
The squadron members came up with nick names for eachother...they decided on Big Country for Scott - which is weird because that's what they called him at Ellsworth too. He had a jersey made for me too! AAAwww! I love this guy!
