Here's a few updates for you!
Haley's soccer team has been together since before we moved here 4 years ago. This summer we said goodbye to 2 of the girls Jayde and Cara as their families moved on to new adventures! It was a sad day. This first photo is the girls...then Amy, myself, and Monica on our way home from the bbq.

 

My *ex-step-sister* Pam and her daughter Alli came to town in early August. Alli will be attending Scottsdale Community College, so Pam drove her down and we had them over for dinner.  Brooke is LOVING her culinary arts class...and cooked dinner (one of the class recipes) for Pam and Alli.

I had an opportunity to meet up with some good friends of ours Julie and Kieth Harrison and their beautiful little girls as they were passing through Phoenix on their way to their new duty station in Japan!

Today: Time to change the oil in my car...time for Brandon to teach the girls how to do it!

Well -- there it is. A snapshot of the last few weeks!

We are looking at the typical busy week, soccer practice for Haley on Mon & Wed night, football practice for Brandon everyday after school, Brooke has meetings for drama club and FCCLA on Mon, Wed and Th after school. Tuesday will bring "meet the teacher" night for Brooke and Brandon's high school which will include ordering the graduation cap & gown set as well as other graduation "stuff"! Saturday, it's planned that Brooke and Haley will attend all day referee training to get certified to referee soccer games for the club Haley plays in. It's an all volunteer league so this will help our family do our part in the way volunteering. I think it will be great for Haley to be able to see the game from a different perspective!
We are really looking forward to my niece Laura...oh yeah and Grandma Howie and Aunt Niki too...coming over Labor Day week!!
Then a couple of weeks later...DADDY WILL BE COMING HOME for his mid-tour on 24 September - 23 October!! WWWWWOOOOOOOO HHHOOOOOOOO!!!
